Excuse me, fellow deviants. --well, those few of you who come through here. i would politely like to point out that the name of this site is DeviantART--the operative term here being "ART"--as in, NOT YOUR PERSONAL FUCKING SNAPSHOT DUMPING-GROUND.
there are plenty of other web-establishments for that. don't make that face. you know there are those of you who are just happily snapping away picture after picture of yourself from the MySpace Angle, or your new puppy, who is OMFG SO SICKENINGLY ADORABLE. and if this was anywhere else, i wouldn't CARE.
but this is Deviant"ART".
so please, stop.
i am TIRED of seeing ALL the newest "Deviations" being no more than snapshots of yourself and your family/friends/pets. kindly take your photo album projects elsewhere, kthx.

Fave gallery swelling to sharp disproportion in comparison to actual artwork i've posted. i realize this, and am sorry.
but really, you don't want to see any of what i've done.
seriously.
oh, hell, just go read my journal and you'll know!

procrastination is the best invention in the universe. all praise the first being which consciously pushed back doing something necessary until a later date!
anyway i finally got the books i ordered, and which i neglected to tell you poor dears about. i bought The Mysteries of Udolpho, some Gogol stories, a little teeny weency book of Oscar Wilde's stories, and this (heartbreakingly thin) volume containing three gothic novels, these being The Castle of Otranto, which i say is overrated; the Vampyre, which i say was much, much too brief; and Vathek, which i haven't read yet.
just under an hour ago i fed sula and evie some peas. i'm waiting to see if they barf, so that i know to slink upstairs before someone makes me clean it up. :aww: but those projects! the damnable black cloud hangs over my head, day and night! i get no rest! for half my summer vacation i'm going to be walking around twitching, thinking that i have projects due that DON'T EXIST! and oh, the pain!
